Reservations are NOW Available for Summer 2008! A once in a lifetime experience for the older Scout, Explorer, Varsity Team, or Venturing Member and even Scout Leaders. Each week participants will undergo a two-day orientation course developing their Kayaking, Wilderness Survival and LEAVE NO TRACE camping techniques that will be required for this awesome 5 day Marshland and Sea Adventure! 

For four days and three nights your group will travel through some of the most beautiful and pristine southeastern marshlands exploring and camping on several of the Barrier Islands of the Georgia Coastline. Studies in Marsh Ecology, Astronomy, Conservation and Oceanography will be part of the adventure as well as visiting many historical locations! 

While on this great adventure, participants will have opportunities for swimming, fishing, crabbing, and shrimp net casting or just enjoy the best nature has to offer! Why its possible that you might even stumble upon some of Blackbeard's buried treasures out there!

Qualify for the High Adventure Award This is a High Adventure Program requiring all participants to be 13 years of age or older on or before  January 1st of the year participating, a strong swimmer and be in good physical condition. A BSA Class 3 Medical form is required. BSA Class 3 Medical Form. Total program fee is $245 per participant. A $50 early registration fee is required by April 1, 2008 and balance of fees due by May 25, 2008. Applicants may pay in full at anytime!

Our trained and experienced Staff members will DO Their Best to assure your adventure is not soon forgotten. Our Trek Guides hold either Sea Kayaking certifications (American Canoe Association) and/or the BSA Lifeguard certification. Group size limited to fourteen. Twelve Scouts and possibly two adults. Sign up early to avoid the crowd! This is a provisional program and all program equipment will be provided. Fall Weekend programs are offered from October through December and Spring beginning in March through May. Weekend cost per participant - Lunch at a Saturday Workshop - $3 and a $107 program fee per person for any Fall or Spring Weekend Trek.
