Webelos I & II
|
What: Webelos Camp is an annual event that has been designed for Webelos I & II Scouts and their parents. In its sixth year of operation, these are weekends designed for learning new outdoor Scouting skills as a preparation for crossing over into Boy Scouting. On your weekend adventure you will camp by the Baden Powell Patrol method. Prepare and cook your own meals in your campsite, take your turn as a leader in your patrol as the Patrol Leader. Special activities would be: hiking, basic map and compass skills, star gazing and learning to find your way at night without a compass. Learn some great wood lore stuff out on the Nature Trail. Learn and practice safety skills in the axe and wood yard, and Fire Safety. Take part in several Boy Scout related games. Don't forget about earning the neat patch for the event!
