100th Anniversary Scout Reunion

This event is the last of the four scheduled in the Coastal Empire Council for celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Scouting in the United States.

The theme for the event is “A Scout Reunion – Be Prepared for the Future.” It is requested that each Troop, Pack and Crew provide a history of each unit, highlighting important events as well as past and present members. Any unit or individual wishing to display memorabilia is required to contact the Scout Office and inform them.

We are requesting that all units sign-up early in order for the planning staff to have an early and accurate attendance count.

Since this event is a reunion, we invite every former Scout in the Coastal Empire Council to join us on August 14, regardless of when and where they were in Scouting. Come on down and take a walk down memory lane.

The cost for this event is $9.00.

All unit leaders are reminded of the heat index in Savannah in August and it is strongly encouraged for all attendees to have a water container with them at all times.

The previous three events have been outstanding and the current planning staff looks forward to maintaining the record. With the excellent support of all the units in the Coastal Empire Council, this event should also be outstanding.
